Youth Super Saturday
BWG Leisure Centre
3-on-3 Basketball Tournament at the BWG Leisure Centre, 471 West Park Ave., from 1 to 5 p.m.
There will be music and entertainment, face painting and food, and an opportunity for those interested to sign up for the Centre for Women, Youth & Culture (CWYC) of Simcoe Muskoka, an organization that empowers Afro-Caribbean women and youth in the region.

Terry Fox Run - Bradford
BWG Public Library
The Terry Fox Run is an annual non-competitive charity event held in numerous regions around the world in commemoration of Canadian cancer activist Terry Fox, and his Marathon of Hope, and to raise money for cancer research.The Terry Fox Foundation funds many different types of cancers; current multi-year studies include lung, ovarian, colorectal, pancreatic, oral, liver, oncolytic viruses and many more.To date over $700 million has been raised in Terry’s name for cancer research. Over 9,000 Terry Fox Runs each year – all volunteer-led and organized. Join us in Bradford locally to help raise funds!

Learn photography fundamentals like ISO, Aperture and Shutter Speed – the building blocks for creating photographs.
10 a.m. - 12 p.m. with open Q&A until 12:30 p.m. Cost: $65 / person, cost includes course, parking and day pass to Scanlon Creek to explore the park after the class. Beeton Fall Fair

Admission $8, free for children in elementary school and preschoolers.
The 163rd Beeton Fall Fair returns to the Beeton Fairgrounds, Sept. 13-15 – with a Magical Midway, Beer Garden, Reptilia Reptile Show, Homecraft Exhibits and more. Saturday highlights include the Fair Parade at 10:30 a.m., 4-H Junior Livestock Shows starting at 10 a.m., Woofstock Canine All Stars at 11:30 a.m., 1:30 and 3:30 p.m., live music, an OTTPA Garden Tractor Pull at 2 p.m., and more. On Sunday, catch the Classic Car, Truck, Tractor and Motorcycle Show, and a demolition derby at 1 p.m. Admission $8 per person, free for children.

Friends of the BWG Library Fall Book Sale

$10 per family on Friday evening, Free Sat. and Sun.
The Friends of the Library hold their final book sale of the year at the Library, starting with Preview Night on Sept. 13, from 7-9 p.m.. Admission is $10 per family for first pick of the paperbacks, hardcover, fiction and non-fiction, art books, do-it-yourself books, Young Adult and Children’s literature, CDs, DVDs and Audio Books. Admission is free on Sat., from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and on Sunday, 1-3:30 p.m. A fundraiser for children’s programming and other library needs.
