Badge Blitz

Scanlon Creek Conservation Area, 2450 Line 9

9 a.m. to 2:45 p.m.

Calling all Scouts and Girl Guides! Join us for an exciting and fun-filled day in nature! See what critters you can find at the bottom of the creek, attract your own feather friends with your brand new bird feeder, or build your own shelter in the woods. With six different programs to choose from, scout and guide groups will have a blast working towards up to two badges in one day as part of this brand new hands-on program!

Walk for Mobyss and Youth Mental Health

Outside Bradford West Gwillimbury Public Library, 425 Holland St. W.

Registration is at 9 a.m., walk starts at 10 a.m.

Mobyss is a mobile walk-in mental health clinic for youth ages 13 to 25 that brings access to professional, confidential counselling to the community.

Single tickets are sold at the door or online for $20, or $10 for students. Children under 12 are free.

Upper Canada Mall Easter Seals Walk

Newmarket’s Riverwalk Commons

Registration begins at 7:30 a.m., with official welcome at 8:30 a.m.

10-kilometre run starts at 8:45 a.m., run for kids at 9 a.m., five-kilometre run or walk at 9:15 a.m., and awards and presentations at 10:15 a.m.

Major fundraiser for Easter Seals and Ontario children with physical disabilities. Refreshments provided.

Highway 11 Cruisers & Husky Travel Centre 2018 Show, Shine & Smoke Out

Husky Travel Centre Bradford, 3479 Hwy 88

11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Cost is a $10 donation to Children’s Wish Foundation of Canada or Camp Quality.

Loads of class awards, burn out competition awards, and door prizes. All makes, models, and years of classic and modified cars, trucks, and motorcycles are welcome. From Rat Rods to Tuners, Choppers to Race Bikes, we encourage everyone to attend any of our Highway 11 events.
