Treasure Sale

Donated treasures culled from attics, closets and cupboards can be yours for a donation to Bradford United Church.

Bradford Farmers’ Market

8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Every Saturday until Oct. 6.

Enjoy live music, meet local community groups, and find produce from the Holland Marsh and beyond, including plants, flowers, herbs, honey, dairy products, maple syrup, cured meats, free-run eggs, baking, preserves, and a variety of fruits and vegetables, plus handmade arts and crafts.

Motorcycle Ride for Youth Haven

9 a.m. to noon

Innisfil Recreational Complex, 7315 Yonge St., Innisfil

Cost is $30 per rider or $20 per passenger

Bring out your motorcycle and fundraise for Youth Haven with the annual Ride for Youth Haven.

Kickstands up at 11 a.m.

The ride starts and ends at Innisfil Recreational Complex.

Amazing ride, barbecue, fun and great prizes. Registration opens at 9 a.m. All bikers must check in and sign a waiver form before participating.

Wishing Well Animal Sanctuary tours

2710 Line 10 in Bradford

12:30 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Cost is $20 per person or $60 for a family of four. Kids under age three are free.

Meet and interact with the Wishing Well family of rescued former farm animals. Vegetarian burgers will be available after the tour for $5 each. Please do not bring pets.

Tours, which take about two hours or so, run on the second Sunday and last Saturday of each month from March through November. Closed-toe footwear is recommended. Parking is available immediately to the right of the sanctuary entrance.
