Market & Co. is celebrating its first birthday with a food festival featuring tapas-style items at special prices, live entertainment and family activities on Thursday, Sept. 26.
Since the unique food emporium opened Sept. 7, 2018, more than one million foodies have visited to date.
For the Taste of Market & Co. Anniversary Edition, the Culinary Tourism Alliance and its Feast On program are coming on board for the party.
"Feast On is a program committed to supporting the local economy and Ontario famers through to educating the public about all the amazing Ontario food and drink that is available," said Christine Seidman, marketing director, Upper Canada. "Feast On is the perfect match for Market & Co. and our focus on local, quality items."
Admission is free from 5 to 9 p.m. Sept. 26, with vendors offering tapas-style morsels priced at $2, $4 or $6 each. You can see the menus here.
You can purchase Taste Tickets, which can be redeemed for the featured items that night, for $2 each at here. Taste Tickets will also be available for purchase the night of the event.
Feast On chefs will be onsite cooking up some delicious eats, mixing up some delicious drinks, and hosting a live culinary demonstration in Kitchen & Co.
Family fun activities include face painters and a photobooth.
Market & Co. is also celebrating with Instagram giveaways each day leading up to the party, with prizes from its merchants, including gift certificates, gift baskets and tickets to classes. Two lucky winners and their guests will get a Taste of Market & Co. tour – each winner will receive 40 food vouchers.
