Great teamwork by all the Dissette Animal Hospital players despite an 11-5 loss against EG. Special mention to Aiden, Halyn and Shelby who worked together to get the ball in from the outfield to turn a possible three-base hit into a tagged runner out at third base. Fantastic pitching by Gregory.

Dissette Animal Hospital met EG again and gave them a run for their money in a close 10-8 loss. Congratulations to the team for playing with so much positive energy and teamwork, and for making plays at the bases. Many terrific connections with the bat including Emma, Desmond, Zachary and Trinity.

Botas Electrical edged out IMBA 1 with a score of 4-3. The game was well played and defended by both teams. Adam scored two of the runs for Botas. Jordan and Liam got RBIs. On the defensive side, Landon made a fantastic out at third base in the first inning; Stefano got the out at first for the third out of the second inning; and Adam snagged the ball to get the runner at second in the third.

Later in the week, all the Botas Electrical bats were finding their groove as they beat IMBA 5 17-2. Every team member had a multi hit game and played well both offensively and defensively.

Easton got two RBIs in the first to score Dominic and Cooper. Jaxon beat the throw to home by a step in the third. Stefano also scored Dominic and Cooper in the fourth, and Easton brought in his third run of the game for the final run of the game.

Defensively, the team worked well together and there were many highlights. Adam, as pitcher, threw a strike to Cooper at first to get an out in the first inning. Dominic made an unassisted out at first in the second, Landon tagged out a runner, and Cooper made a great snag to make an out at second in the fifth inning for the final out of the game.

Way to go, Team Botas, on a great week of baseball!
