Here's where to watch a gold-medal figure skater in Simcoe County this month

Canadian National Team skater will perform as a guest at a skating carnival
Collingwood’s skaters are turning the Eddie Bush Memorial Arena into a big top with the 68th annual skating carnival.

This year’s theme is Cirque du Patinage, featuring skater’s of all ages from the Collingwood Skating Club.

This year’s show will also include performances by guest skater Roman Sadovsky. He is on the Canadian Senior Men’s National Team now and has won two gold medals in the International Skating Union Junior Grand Prix series, and represented Canada at three World Junior Championships.

The Collingwood skating carnival takes place Saturday, March 30 at the Eddie Bush Memorial Arena beginning at 1 p.m.

Tickets are $10 for general admission and $5 for children. Tickets are available to purchase in advance on Tuesday nights between 5 p.m. and 6:30 at the Eddie Bush arena. They are also available at the door before the show.
