Happy Raptors fans before the start of Game 5 at Ray Twinney Recreation Complex on June 10. Greg King for NewmarketToday

Will the Toronto Raptors storm the court in Game 6 of the NBA Finals tonight, just like what Mother Nature has planned for Newmarket with rain and thunderstorm warnings?

You are invited to watch the Raptors take on the Golden State Warriors in Oakland, Calif., as the local favourites get a second chance to make history. The Raptors are leading 3-2 over the Warriors.

For the third time during the NBA Championship Series, the phenomena known as Jurassic Commons will move indoors so local fans can watch the livestream together and cheer on the Raptors.

Head over to the Ray Twinney Recreation Complex, Floor 1, 100 Eagle St. W., where the doors open at 7 p.m. and the game begins at 9 p.m.

Do not bring your own chairs as the arena bleachers are available, as well there is plenty of space on the floor.

The Town of Newmarket encourages guests to bring non-perishable food items to donate to the Newmarket Food Pantry. Bins will be located at the Town booth.

Wickedly Sinful poutine and Mister Softee are back and will offer snacks for sale. But you are also welcome to bring your own food, snacks and non-alcoholic beverages.

Check the Town of Newmarket’s events page for updates.
