BARRIE - A popular stand-up paddle company in Barrie is gearing up to open its newest location of operations at Leonard’s Beach in Innisfil as early as June 29, 2019.
“Leonard’s Beach area is one of the best areas to SUP as most of the time the bay is fairly sheltered from the west, north, and even south wind," said Brent Ackland – founder and Head Coach of Northern SUP. “On a personal level, it is very exciting for me to be operating on the very beach my mother spent her childhood and the area where I officially started my stand up paddle business nine years ago."
Northern Stand Up Paddle (Northern SUP) has again partnered with the Town of Innisfil to enhance its community offerings for the waterfront activities for both residents and visitors. This season, Northern SUP will be offering various programming from Full Moon paddles to learn to paddle for all ages.
