Three Bradford teams advance to York-Simcoe championships

Two Bradford Bulldogs teams have now joined a third to compete in the York-Simcoe championship finals. 

The Novice A Bulldogs took four games to defeat the King Rebellion, downing the King side 3-2 in King City on March 18. The Bulldogs will face off against the Barrie Colts in a championship series.  

And the Midget A Bulldogs took only three games to defeat the Georgina Blaze, earning a 4-1 victory in Game 3 on March 18 in Sutton. The Midgets will play Orillia for the title.

The teams join Bradford West Gwillimbury's Atom A Bulldogs, which wrapped up its York-Simcoe semi-final against the East Gwillimbury Eagles on March 16, advancing to the championship finals against the Orillia Terriers.

Game 1 of the championship series will take place in Orillia on March 19. Game 2 will be in Bradford on March 22 at 7 p.m.
