MARKHAM, Ont. — Police say they're looking for a 35-year-old man wanted for first-degree murder in the deaths of a missing Markham, Ont., couple.
York Regional Police say they believe 37-year-old Quoc Tran and 25-year-old Kristy Nguyen were murdered in Vaughan, Ont.
The force says the couple was last seen in Vaughan on Sept. 11.
Police say they've issued a Canada-wide arrest warrant for Phuong Tan Nguyen, who is facing two counts of first-degree murder.
They say he is considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached.
Police say they believe the victims were targeted.
