LONDON, Ont. — Police say they are investigating after a young child died after falling from a balcony in London, Ont.
They say officers with the city's force and paramedics responded to a 911 call around 12:30 p.m. Saturday.
London police say the first responders found a young child with life-threatening injuries who had fallen from the balcony.
They say the child died in hospital after life-saving efforts.
Police say the force's major crime section is helping the province's chief coroner's office with the investigation.
Investigators are asking anyone with information on the case to call them.
