A winter weather travel advisory remains in effect for parts of southern Ontario, although it has been lifted for the Greater Toronto Area, London, Hamilton, Windsor and Peterborough.

BROCKVILLE, Ont. — Provincial police are confirming three people have died in a collision between a semi and a passenger vehicle on Highway 401. Police say it happened early Monday evening just east of Maitland, in Augusta Township.

TORONTO — Police say they've made an arrest in a case where they've alleged a woman pushed another woman onto the subway tracks at Toronto's Bloor-Yonge station. Investigators say a 39-year-old woman was walking on the platform just after 9 p.m.

The search for two people on board a plane that has been missing in northern Ontario has entered its fourth day. Maj. Trevor Reid, a spokesperson for the Canadian Armed Forces, says the Piper Comanche aircraft left Delhi, Ont., around 3:45 p.m.

TORONTO — A spring snowstorm is expected to hit most of southern Ontario this evening through early Tuesday morning. Environment Canada has issued a winter travel advisory for the area today due to anticipated snowfall.

TORONTO — Ontario is reporting 1,301 people in hospital with COVID-19 today, about 19 per cent higher than a week ago. The number of patients in ICUs has gone up about 10 per cent over than same period, to 202 from 184.

Toronto Police say three people are facing charges in the death of a 31-year-old man. They say Niagara Regional Police helped in arresting Adriana Desario, 20, of Oakville, Ont.
