ATV's go through ice on Holland River (5 photos)

An investigation confirmed that the operators were not with the ATVs when they were found

At approximately 3 p.m. Wednesday afternoon, Bradford Fire and Emergency Services received a call that two ATVs had gone through the ice on the Holland River just south of the bridge on Hwy 11.

Bradford Fire responded with South Simcoe Police and Paramedics of Simcoe County to find the ATVs submerged but no operators. Crews quickly suited up to do a search of the water to confirm that their were no victims.

Following the investigation, the ATV's were recovered.
