INNISFIL - South Simcoe Police Service officers are investigating the theft of a vehicle from the Tanger Outlet Mall in Cookstown.

On Thursday, Jan. 10, 2019 around 9 p.m., police were called to the Tanger Outlet Mall located on County Road 89 for a report of a possibly stolen vehicle.

The owner told police he had parked his white 2015 BMW in the parking lot around 6 p.m. and when he returned at 9 p.m., the vehicle was gone. Investigation revealed that the vehicle was driven out of the parking lot around 6:25 p.m.

Anyone with information about the theft of this vehicle is asked to contact South Simcoe Police Service at 705-436-2141, 905-775-3311 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477(TIPS). Tips can be submitted anonymously online.
