Bradford and Toronto men face impaired driving charges

One rolled vehicle and a parked car lead officers to investigate in two separate incidents

On Saturday, Sept. 8, 2018, just after 5 p.m., officers were on patrol on Holland St. West in Bradford West Gwillimbury when they saw a vehicle in a parking lot and approached the driver. Officers noted an odour of alcohol and a roadside test was conducted.

The 59-year-old Bradford man was transported to South Division where after further testing he was charged with Over 80.

He was released with a court date later this month. His licence was suspended for 90 days and his vehicle impounded for seven days.

INNISFIL - On Sunday, Sept. 9, 2018 around 12:30 a.m., officers responded to a single vehicle roll over on the 10th Sideroad south of the 3rd Line in Innisfil. Once on scene, police located the driver walking away.

The 31-year-old Toronto man was arrested for impaired driving. After breath tests were conducted, the man was also charged with Over 80.

He was released with a future court date. His licence was suspended for 90 days and his vehicle impounded for seven days.
