Bradford driver clocked at more than twice the speed limit

47-year-old charged with driving 101 km/h in a 50 km/h zone

On Monday, June 14, 2021 at approximately 8:30 a.m., a South Simcoe Police Service officer observed a vehicle travelling at a high rate of speed in the area of Yonge Street and Line 8 in Bradford.  

A speed measurement was obtained of 101 km/h in the posted 50 km/h zone and a vehicle stop was conducted.

As a result of the investigation, 47-year-old Bratislav Jakovljevic of Bradford was charged with stunt driving and speeding.

His licence was suspended for seven days and his vehicle was impounded for seven days.
