Bradford man, 19, facing impaired driving charges

BRADFORD – On Monday, June 29, 2020, around 8:15 p.m., a citizen called South Simcoe Police Service to report an erratic driver on Holland Street In Bradford.

Police responded, conducted a traffic stop and the driver was arrested for impaired operation after a fail was registered on a roadside screening device. The man was transported to South Division where breath tests resulted in readings over the legal limit.

Charged with 80 and Above, Novice Driver Blood-Alcohol Concentration Above Zero and not having insurance was 19-year-old Terrence Smith of Bradford. His licence was suspended for 90 days and his vehicle impounded for seven days.
