Bradford man accused of driving while impaired by drugs

INNISFIL - On Friday, Nov. 29, around 5:15 p.m., South Simcoe Police Service officers were called to a plaza in the Innisfil Beach Road and Adullam Avenue area of Alcona.

When officers arrived they located a lone male occupant sitting in the driver's seat of a running vehicle. Based on evidence at the scene, the man was arrested for impaired operation by drugs.

After being cleared medically on scene by County of Simcoe Paramedics, the man was transported to South Division for a Drug Recognition Expert evaluation.

As a result, a 29-year-old Bradford man was charged with impaired operation by drugs. His licence was suspended for 90 days and the vehicle impounded for seven days.
