Bradford man accused of speeding, impaired driving

On Wednesday, July 29, 2020, at 1:00 a.m., a South Simcoe Police Service officer observed a vehicle travelling at a high rate of speed on Holland Street West in Bradford. A traffic stop was conducted and a fail registered on a roadside screening device. The driver was arrested and transported to South Division where breath tests resulted in readings over the legal limit of alcohol.  

37-year-old Marc Allan of Bradford was charged with over 80, speeding, drive motor vehicle - no licence and fail to have insurance card.

His licence was suspended for 90 days and his vehicle impounded for seven days. He was released with a future court date.
