Bradford man charged with impaired after parking lot collision

A 29-year-old Bradford man was charged with over 80 after South Simcoe Police Service officers responded to a report of a collision in a parking lot in Bradford.

On Tuesday, Dec. 1, 2020, around 8 p.m., police arrived at the parking lot on Holland Street West and learned that a vehicle had struck a parked car. Police located the suspect vehicle and the driver who was placed under arrest following a roadside screening device test. He was transported to the South Division for further testing.

As a result of the investigation, 29-year-old Stephen Boodhoo of Bradford was charged with over 80.  

His licence was suspended for 90 days and his vehicle impounded for seven days.  

There were no injuries as a result of the collision.
