Bradford woman charged in domestic assault investigation

Victim reported being assaulted, several items in his home had been broken

On Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2019 around 1 a.m., South Simcoe Police Service officers were dispatched to a home in the Holland Street West and Professor Day Drive area of Bradford. Once on scene, officers spoke to a 41-year-old man who said he had been assaulted by his spouse and several items in his home had been broken. A suspect was subsequently located nearby and transported to South Division.

A 27-year-old Bradford woman was charged with assault and mischief. She was released with a future court date and conditions. A safety plan was discussed with the victim who did not require medical treatment.
