PENETANGUISHENE - On Aug. 15, 2018 members of the Southern Georgian Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were requested to investigate a fraud-related incident at a financial institution in the Town of Penetanguishene.

On June 29 and July 12, 2018 an unknown male attended the Scotia Bank and made several transactions that were fraudulent in nature.

Investigators are asking for the assistance of the public to help identify the male in the attached supplied photographs believed to be the suspect in this fraud investigation.
