Driver tests nearly three times legal blood alcohol limit

A 26-year-old Holland Landing woman is charged with over 80 following a traffic stop in Bradford. On Tuesday, April 16, 2019 around 3:30 p.m., a South Simcoe Police Service officer observed a vehicle travelling erratically and at a high rate of speed on Dissette Street.

The officer conducted a vehicle stop and detected an odour of aclohol. A demand was made for a roadside screening device test which resulted in a fail. The driver was transported to South Division for further testing. Results were registered at nearly three times the legal limit of alcohol.

The driver was charged with over 80. Her licence was suspended for 90 days and her vehicle impounded for seven days.
