An employee of Shoppers Drug Mart in Bradford was charged with theft following an investigation by South Simcoe Police Service officers into stolen narcotics.
On Thursday, March 19, 2020 around 10 a.m., police responded to the Shoppers Drug Mart on Holland Street West for a report of a theft. Investigation revealed that more than 1,000 tablets of a narcotic were stolen on multiple occasions along with a small quantity of allergy medication.
Charged with two counts of theft under $5,000 is a 27-year-old Bradford man.
The stolen narcotics were recovered.
