INNISFIL - A 33-year-old Innisfil man was charged with impaired operation and over 80 after police received a report regarding an erratic driver in the area of Highway 400 and Innisfil Beach Road in Innisfil.
On Saturday, Dec. 7, 2019 around 1 a.m., South Simcoe Police Service officers responded and located the vehicle in the driveway of a home in the 6th Line and St. Johns Road area. The driver was arrested after police detected an odour of alcohol. He was transported to North Division where breath tests resulted in readings of well over twice the legal limit.
A 33-year-old Innisfil man was charged with impaired operation and over 80. His licence was suspended for 90 days and his vehicle impounded for seven days.
