Footprints helped lead to the arrest of two shoplifting suspects in Bradford.

On Saturday, Nov. 24 2018, South Simcoe Police Service officers were dispatched to a store in Bradford for a report of a theft.

A loss prevention officer had followed two suspects outside of the store but the suspects took off on foot when told they were under arrest.

They were seen running behind a building under construction on Holland St. West. Police attended the area and noticed footprints leading to a tree beside the building. The suspects were located and arrested without incident.

A 26-year-old woman from Toronto and a 34-year-old man from Mississauga are both charged with Theft Under $5,000.
