Holland Landing man charged with impaired driving

A 33-year-old Holland Landing man is charged with impaired driving and over 80 following an incident outside a Bradford home.

On Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2018 around 11 p.m, South Simcoe Police Service officers were called to a home in the Holland Street West and Barrie Street area for a report of an unwanted person.

Police were told that a woman's ex-boyfriend was damaging a lawn with his vehicle. When officers arrived, the man was arrested. Following a breath test he was charged with over 80 and impaired driving. He was released with a future court date.

Impaired driving remains the leading criminal cause of death in Canada. According to MADD Canada, every day, on average, up to four Canadians are killed in alcohol and/or drug-related motor vehicle collisions and hundreds more are injured. Please stop.
