INNISFIL - On Saturday, June 15, 2019 at 9:50 p.m., a South Simcoe Patrol officer was observing traffic on Innisfil Beach Road when the officer heard numerous car horns in the area. The officer noticed that several motorists were following a woman driving her vehicle very slowly with a completely flat tire. The officer noticed that the other motorists were trying to get his attention to alert him to the woman's driving.

The officer stopped the woman, 37 years old from Innisfil, and noticed that she smelled of alcohol. The woman was given a roadside test, which she failed. She was taken to the station for further tests which showed the woman was almost twice over the limit.

She had her licence suspended for 90-day and the vehicle was impounded for seven days. The woman was released with a future Court date and charged with operation while impaired - blood alcohol concentration.
