INNISFIL - A 41-year-old Innisfil man was charged with speeding and stunt driving following a vehicle stop.
On Saturday, Nov. 23, 2019, around 5 a.m., a vehicle travelling at a high rate of speed passed a South Simcoe Police Service officer on Innisfil Beach Road near Sideroad 10 in Innisfil.
A speed measurement was obtained of 146 km/h in the posted 80 km/h zone.
The officer pulled over the vehicle and the driver was charged with speeding and stunt driving. A 41-year-old Innisfil man had his licence suspended for seven days and his vehicle impounded for seven days.
