A 31-year-old Innisfil man is charged following a domestic incident in Innisfil.
On Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2019, South Simcoe Police Service officers received a report of an assault that had occurred the previous evening at an Innisfil home. Investigation revealed that a 26-year-old Innisfil woman was physically assaulted during an argument with her husband. The victim did not require medical treatment.
A 31-year-old Innisfil man was arrested and charged with assault and assault with a weapon. He was released with a future court date. Services through the Victim Crisis Assistance and Referral Service (VCARS) were offered to the victim.
