Innisfil stabbing incident under investigation

INNISFIL - South Simcoe Police Service officers are appealing for the public's help following a stabbing in Innisfil.

On Friday, Oct. 26, 2018 around 12:45 a.m., police were called to a report of a disturbance in the Innisfil Beach Road and St. John's Road area.

Investigation revealed an altercation had occurred in the parking lot outside of a bar. A 27-year-old Innisfil man was taken to hospital where he was treated and released for non-life-threatening stab wounds.

There was a large crowd of people in the parking lot at the time of the altercation.
