Man charged after reporting collision to South Simcoe police

A Barrie man has been charged with an impaired driving-related offence after reporting a collision to police a few days after it occurred.

The 53-year-old man attended the South Simcoe Police Service’s South Division station in Bradford on Tuesday afternoon to report the crash. As a result of an investigation, he was charged with failure or refusal to comply with demand.

His licence is now suspended for 90 days and his vehicle will be impounded for seven days.
