Update: Pedestrian struck at busy intersection (3 photos)

Update 10:35 p.m.:

Police are appealing for witnesses in the fail to remain collision tonight at Holland Street West and West Park Avenue.
 
A female pedestrian was struck and transported to hospital with serious non-life-threatening injuries. The road remains closed as the traffic unit is on scene for reconstruction.  

Original Story:

At approximately 6:30 Friday evening, Bradford Fire and Emergency Services responded to a call of a pedestrian that had been struck at the intersection of Holland Street West and West Park Avenue.

Witnesses at the scene said an elderly woman was struck by two vehicles, both of which fled the scene. 

The woman was taken to hospital with what police are reporting as non-life threatening injuries.

Police are continuing to investigate and say they are looking for two vehicles in connection with the incident.
