South Simcoe Police Service officers are appealing for the public's help to solve the theft of a woman's purse.
On Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2020 around 3:30 p.m., South Simcoe Police Service officers responded to a grocery store near Barrie Street and 8th Line in Bradford regarding the theft of a purse. Once on scene, officers learned that a female suspect grabbed a woman's purse out of her shopping cart when the victim was looking away. The suspect quickly left the store and drove off.
Suspect:
• Female, wearing a dark head/face scarf, black puffy long coat, blue jeans, grey running shoes
Suspect vehicle:
• Grey Ford Escape
Anyone with information regarding this theft is asked to contact South Simcoe Police Service or Crime Stoppers.
A purse snatching can occur anywhere and anytime. South Simcoe Police Service officers want to remind residents to always keep an eye on your purse when shopping and never leave it unattended. Help reduce your risk of being a victim.
