Police investigate rash of thefts from vehicles

South Simcoe Police Service officers are appealing for information and security camera video following a number of overnight thefts from vehicles in Bradford.

The thefts occurred between midnight and 4 a.m. on Saturday, May 15, 2021, in area of Rogers Trail to Langford Boulevard north of Line 8 in the Dreamfields subdivision. Multiple vehicles were entered and  items stolen.

Police are asking area residents and businesses to check their security camera systems for video that might assist the investigation. Officers are also appealing for witnesses, anyone with information or dash cam footage to come forward. Thefts from vehicles are crimes of opportunity. South Simcoe Police Service is reminding residents to always lock your vehicles and don't leave any valuables inside. These two simple steps can protect your property and prevent you from becoming a victim.  If your car was entered, please report it to police and always call us immediately if you see suspicious activity.
