Police investigating LCBO break-in in Cookstown

INNISFIL - South Simcoe Police Service officers are appealing for the public's help following a break and enter at the LCBO in Cookstown.

On Monday, Sept. 24, 2018 around 9 a.m., police were called to the Queen Street location after an employee arrived to open for the day and discovered that the store had been broken into through the roof. A quantity of cash was stolen.

Investigators are appealing to anyone with video or people who may have witnessed activity in the area overnight Sunday into Monday morning to contact us at 905-775-3311, 705-436-2141, Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or submit a tip online.
