Police looking for witnesses following suspected firearm incident in Bradford

The victim was not injured in the incident and police say the motive is not known at this time

The South Simcoe Police Service is seeking witnesses and security or dash cam video following an incident involving a suspected firearm in Bradford.

On Tuesday, Aug. 10, 2021, at approximately 7 p.m., a man reported that a dark coloured Honda SUV pulled up beside him in the area of Blue Dasher Boulevard and Professor Day Drive. Two suspects exited the Honda and one of them brandished a suspected firearm at the man. The man sped from the scene but the suspect vehicle followed him until he pulled into the police station on Melbourne Drive. The suspect vehicle then drove away and was last seen travelling southbound in the area of Melbourne and Miller Park Avenue. The man was not injured. The motive for the incident is unknown at this time and the investigation is ongoing.

The suspect vehicle is described as a late model, dark coloured, Honda SUV with clear front windows and tinted rear windows.
