The South Simcoe Police Service is seeking public assistance to identify a suspect in an indecent act investigation in Innisfil.
On Thursday, Jan, 20, 2022, at approximately 3:45 p.m., a male suspect committed an indecent act in front of two children in a park in the area of Glenn Avenue and Parkside Crescent. The children promptly left the park and advised their parents, who called police.
Officers want to make the public aware of this incident and are seeking witnesses and security camera or dash cam video that can assist in the investigation. This investigation serves as a reminder to parents and caregivers to discuss safety habits with their children. The children involved in this incident did the right thing by immediately leaving the situation and reporting it to their parents right away.
