BRADFORD, ON - South Simcoe Police Service officers are seeking the public's assistance following three commercial break and enters on Holland Street West in Bradford. The first break-in occurred in the early morning hours of Sunday, Oct. 18, 2020.

The other two entries took place in the early morning hours of Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2020. In each case, unknown suspect(s) gained entry to the property, targeted cash tills and escaped with a quantity of money.

Police are appealing to anyone who was in the area of these businesses and witnessed suspicious persons or activity to contact Sgt. Mike Adams at 905-775-3311, 705-436-2141, ext. 1013, [email protected], or contact Crime Stoppers.

Break and enters are often crimes of opportunity. Don't make it easy for thieves. Commercial and retail businesses can take steps to secure their premises.
They include:

  • Install or use current security systems and reduce the temptation for would-be thieves
  • Remove all cash from the register and leave the empty tray in plain sight as an indication there is no money in the store
  • Leave a clear line of sight from the street into the business
