Police seek witnesses in thefts from vehicles

South Simcoe Police Service officers are seeking the public's help in solving two vehicle break-ins in Bradford.

On Tuesday Oct. 23, 2018 between 8 and 10 a.m., two vehicles were parked in a parking lot in the Professor Day Dr. and Holland St. West area of Bradford. Investigation revealed that a suspect vehicle pulled up beside the two parked vehicles.

A suspect then smashed a window in each vehicle and took items from inside. The suspect left the parking lot in a dark-coloured SUV.

Police believe there may have been witnesses in the area and are appealing for them to come forward. Anyone with information is asked to contact us at 905-775-3322, 705-436-2141, Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477(TIPS). Tips can be submitted online.

We would like to remind our residents to avoid leaving valuables in your vehicle, even if the vehicle is locked.
