On Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at approximately 8:00 p.m., a South Simcoe Police Service officer observed a vehicle travelling at a high rate of speed on 10th Sideroad in Bradford. A speed measurement was obtained of 122 km/h in a posted 60 zone. A traffic stop was conducted.
As a result of the investigation, 51-year-old Sergiy Drozdo of Richmond Hill was charged with stunt driving and speeding. His licence was suspended for seven days and his vehicle impounded for seven days.
Reducing your speed reduces your chances of getting in a collision. It gives you more vehicle control and allows you to respond more quickly to road situations. Slow down and arrive alive.
