Schomberg man accused of driving 65 km/h over posted speed limit

A 43-year-old Schomberg man was charged with speeding and stunt driving following a traffic stop in Bradford.

On Friday, Oct. 5, 2019 around 2:30 p.m., a South Simcoe Police Service officer police was conducting radar at Canal Road just east of Tornado Drive. The officer observed a vehicle travelling at a high rate of speed. A speed measurement was obtained of 115 km/h in a posted 50 km/h zone.  

A 43-year-old Schomberg man was charged with speeding, stunt driving and drive motor vehicle - fail to display two plates. His licence was suspended for seven days and his vehicle impounded for seven days. He has a court date in November.
