INNISFIL - South Simcoe Police Service officers are intensifying their search for a missing Innisfil man. Search efforts now include support from Barrie Police, York Regional Police, Georgian Bay Search and Rescue, our officers on ATVs, the Canine Unit and police on foot canvassing the area.
Sixty-five-year-old Craig Swayze was last seen leaving his home in the 7th Line and Webster Boulevard area of Alcona around 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2018. Police are concerned for his well-being.
Here is an updated description of Mr. Swayze:
- 6 feet tall
- 240 lbs
- reddish curly hair, ponytail past shoulders
- untrimmed goatee
- green eyes
- wearing dark rain coat, dark windbreaker, white t-shirt, black jeans, black ball cap, semi-formal leather loafers
We are asking area residents to check their yards, property and outbuildings for any sign of Craig Swayze. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to call us at 705-436-2141 or 905-775-3311.
