NEW TECUMSETH - Members of the Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) from the Nottawasaga Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) executed an early morning search warrant on a west side address on Nov. 8, 2019.

Members of the Emergency Response Team (ERT) assisted CSCU and recovered items that were stolen from the surrounding area, a collection of drug paraphernalia and an expandable baton.

Two parties have been arrested in relation to this warrant:

Glenn Kernohan, 23, of Alliston has been charged with;

  • Possession of Schedule 1 substance for the Purpose of Trafficking
  • Possession of Weapon for Dangerous Purpose 
  • Possession Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000
  • Fail to Comply with Probation Order

Matthew Lewis, 27, of Alliston has been charged with;

  • Possession of Schedule 1 Substance

Both parties were released and will appear in a Bradford Courthouse in the near future.
