The South Simcoe Police Service is appealing for witnesses following a fatal collision in Bradford.
On Tuesday, May 17, at approximately 10:50 p.m., police, Bradford West Gwillimbury Fire and Emergency Services and County of Simcoe Paramedic Services responded to a three-vehicle collision on County Road 88 near Sideroad 10. One driver was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver of the second vehicle was trapped and had to be extricated by firefighters. He was transported to a local hospital with critical injuries and subsequently transferred to a Toronto hospital. The driver of the third vehicle was transported to hospital with minor injuries.
The Traffic Unit attended the scene for collision reconstruction. The investigation into the cause of the collision is ongoing.
The deceased driver has been identified as a 39-year-old Bradford man.
