Black History Around the World Achievements

As part of the BWG Public Library’s Black History Month campaign, the BWG Diversity Action Group will be hosting an art event celebrating African/Canadian heritage and history. The display will be held at the Library on Wednesday, February 20 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. The event is free and all are welcome.

Local residents are invited to submit visual or written art for inclusion in the display. Art can be submitted to Larissa Marks, Community Engagement Coordinator, at the Library.  All submissions must be received no later than Monday, February,18 2019.  For more details, please contact Larissa at or 905.775-3328 ext. 6127.
