Children’s virtual programs provide actual support

The BWG Library’s Children’s Librarians continue to offer online storytime and science activities to support families

Miss Andrea, Miss Michelleand Miss Bailey are community favourites with the under-seven crowd, and all of our BWG librarians are here for you, even when the building is closed.This is good news for parents and caregivers who need a break or help entertaining youngsters, since our librarians have been busy filling Facebook, Instagram and TikTok with Online Storytimes, crafts, brain games and many other online programs.

Online Storytime is posted every Tuesday and Thursday morning at 9:30 a.m.Join Miss Andrea for songs, rhymes and stories at www.facebook.com/bwglibrary.Miss Michelle’s crafts are posted every Wednesday morning at 9:30 a.m., with a bonus craft incorporated after Miss Andrea’s Storytimes on Thursday mornings.If you have a great craft idea for Miss Michelle to bring to life, you can email events@bradford.library.on.ca or message the BWG Library through Facebook.

New Online Babytime with Miss Andrea videos are posted every Saturday morning at 9:30 a.m.Online Babytime with Miss Andrea is a resource for parents of infants.This program empowers parents to interact with their child in the same way that they would have had they been able to visit the BWG Library and participate in a live Babytime.
