Drop in for skating at the BWG Leisure Centre

The Spring 2019 skating schedule at the BWG Leisure Centre is in effect starting Monday, April 8, 2019.

In addition to general public skating, there are a variety of dedicated skating times for various age and interest groups including Parent & Child Skating, Adult Skating, Sledge Hockey, Family Stick & Puck and Parent & Tot Shinny.

Not familiar with these programs? Parent & Tot Shinny is a dedicated time for adults to teach their children ages 6 and under the basics of skating with a puck. Maximum of 1 adult to 3 children. CSA approved helmet and hockey gloves are required.

Family Stick & Puck is for families with children up to 14 years of age. Play an unstructured game or work on skills. Minimum of 1 child with parent/guardian (18+) up to a maximum of 5 participants per group. CSA hockey helmet with mask and gloves required. Participants under age of 18 must wear full face protection.
