Maker Kits are back on the shelves and ready to be checked out! These kits are packed full of fun and new things to discover. Help stave off the summer slump by borrowing these robotics kits for free from the BWG Library and learn about STEM this summer.The BWG Library Maker Kits include activities for all age levels and are full of endless fun.

Here are some of our favourites to try:

GoPro Hero 7 Silver

No matter where adventure takes you, take the GoPro HERO7 Silver.  This little camera offers 4K video and WDR photo, has an easy-to-use touchscreen and responds to voice commands.  Rugged and waterproof, it’s also equipped with GPS so you can track your distance, height and speed. And for easy sharing, images and videos go directly to the GoPro app.

Code-A-Pillar

Ready, set, code! Code-a-pillar lets kids discover the fun of coding as they use their problem-solving and sequencing skills to code a path for their buddy to follow.

Ollie Darkside

Ozobot

Teach yourself to code Evo two ways: online with OzoBlockly and screen-free with Color Codes. OzoBlockly, powered by Google’s Blockly, has five skill levels for beginner to master coding. Color Codes, made with markers on paper, teach basic STEM skills, critical thinking, and debugging.
