Take part in the BWG Library’s“Design a Garden” kids craft contest and be entered for a chance to win a $50 Indigo gift card!
This contest is in partnership with the Town of BWG’s Healthy Communities Advisory Committee “Hope is Growing” campaign, where residents of BWG are being encouraged to grow a real live Hope Garden. A Hope Garden features the colour yellow, whether with flowers, shrubs or fruits and vegetables. To learn more about the main contest, visit www.townofbwg.com/hope-is-growing
Now kids up to age 12 can participate too by creating your own Hope Garden using craft materials supplied free by the BWG Library!
How to enter:
- Pick up a craft kit at the BWG Library.
- Using the materials provided and/or items you have at home, create a picture of a Hope Garden (a garden that includes things that are the colour yellow).
- Write your name, age and contact information on the back of the picture/project.
- To submit your entry, drop off your garden craft at the Library, or take a photo of your creation and send it to the Library along with your contact information by Facebook message or by email to[email protected].
All submissions are due by Friday, August 20 by 3:00 p.m.
Winners will be announced on Friday, August 27.
